How it works
Percentage = points earned ÷ total points × 100. The percentage is then mapped to a letter grade (A, B, C, …) using standard grade bands.

From points to letter grade
Most assignments are scored out of a total number of points. Dividing your earned points by that total and multiplying by 100 gives your percentage, which schools map to letter grades using bands like 90–100 = A. This calculator does both at once so you instantly know where a score lands.
